At the Department of Fashion Design, we foster artistic and scientific problem-solving skills and educate an integrated mind for design and management skills to cultivate global fashion specialists capable of future-oriented convergent thinking.
“Global fashion specialists with integrated design capabilities” is what our department envisions for our students, and we offer them a wide variety of practical training opportunities to raise their competitiveness in the job market and assist their transition into the society. Some of the training programs include graduation work presentations and exhibitions, industry-university cooperative designs, merchandising planning projects, contests, domestic and overseas internships, and mentoring programs.

Specialities

The Fashion Design major consists of sub-areas, including Fashion design, Technical design and production, Fashion marketing, Fashion illustration, History of costumes, and Textile, among others. It is both a convergent and applied studies with relations to humanities, social sciences, arts, and natural science.
