The Department of Early Childhood Education aims to inspire the next generation of educators in the field of early childhood education through teaching and research. Our goals is to lead the field of early childhood education toward excellence by promoting research-informed pedagogy and practices, and supporting our graduates to become lifelong learners who are able to educate and nurture young children.
Education Objective

The Department of Early Childhood Education aims to develop an educational environment focusing on problem solving skills and convergent thinking.

  1. Prepare early childhood professionals with moral values, community, and ecology.
  2. Prepare early childhood professionals who are informed of the best practices based on research.
  3. Prepare early childhood professionals with local and international community partnership.
Specialities

The Department of Early Childhood Education is committed to providing pre-service teachers with multi-disciplinary learning experiences as well as building a solid foundation of knowledge and skills required for the next generation learning. A degree in Early Childhood Education and teacher certificate prepares students to be effective educators of young children, in collaboration with their families, in a variety of early childhood settings.
These settings include public & private kindergartens classrooms, daycare center programs, family counselling and educational media industry.
