Philosophy explores fundamental principles of human beings, the world, culture, art, and knowledge. Three traditions are represented in philosophy courses. Continental philosophy and aesthetics cultivate a sensitivity to humanities and arts. Oriental philosophy teaches Eastern wisdom and insight into the world. Analytic philosophy enhances critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Philosophical training develops fundamental thinking and writing skills at the advanced level that are assessed in tests such as LEET, PSAT, LSAT, GMAT, or GRE
