With the convergence of ICT technologies throughout industry, hacking and cyber-terror attacks have come to threaten people’s lives beyond just economic damage. Accordingly, cyber security has become an essential requirement in all industrial fields, and the importance of cultivating cyber security experts is increasing day by day. The Cyber Security Division systematically learns the expertise necessary for overall information security technology through theory and practice (with a complete understanding of various hacking attacks and vulnerability analysis technologies) and cultivates practical skills.
Education Objective
  • Fostering female talents with creativity and application ability to actively respond to technological and social changes
  • Fostering professional and work-ready female talents who can respond to the diversified industrial fields in the era of the 4th industrial revolution
Specialities

(1) Cybersecurity system design and analysis capabilities
- Ability to design, develop, operate and analyze systems in need of cybersecurity by combining efficient algorithm design and programming skills based on major knowledge of ICT systems and data analysis
(2) High-reliability ICT program design and development capabilities
- Ability to understand the basics of security systems, learn high-reliability programming and system development methodologies for security vulnerabilities, and apply them in practice
(3) Data analysis capabilities
- Ability to quicky analyze a large volume of data based on major knowledge that can store, manage, analyze, and apply various types of data to find main singularities
