The Department of Biotechnology provides learning opportunities in overall life sciences knowledge and problem-solving ability through engineering skills which are required in the bio industry and R&D sites. We encourage students to cultivate future-oriented and creative bioengineering talents for the upcoming convergence of the 4th industrial society.
Education Objective
  • Education of basic life science and engineering application ability.
  • Training on practical skills required in bio industry and R&D sites.
  • Cultivation of convergence thinking ability and collaboration skills.
Specialities

After graduating by acquiring specialized knowledge in biotechnology and developing practical research ability through the advanced course and double major course, students advance to related graduate schools or biotechnology companies such as national and public research institutes and medicine/pharmaceutical/food/agricultural companies.
