Based on Eastern ideas and theories, it aims to educate artists with a modern sense who seek a view of Korean formative art and a new oriental painting's formative language in line with the changing times. Along with acquiring practical skills in traditional painting and studying traditional aesthetics and theories, we intend to cultivate the creative ability of artists who will lead the future with a modern eye as oriental painting experts.

  • Talent training education that creates self-expression through the cultivation of the ability to think freely, extensive formative research, and experiments
  • Education with expertise in oriental painting based on traditional techniques and theories
  • Education for fostering artists who will lead the future with various empathy ability required by the art market
Specialities

These days, professional personnel with various characteristics are needed. If you graduate with various brush stoke skills and creative thinking in the undergraduate program, you can work in animation background, game character or background design, movie content, advertisements using ink, and as fairy tale artists. After graduating from college, the student can go to graduate school to build a career as an artist, to try to combine new art in various countries through studying abroad and to demonstrate their ability as a painter. Graduates who are dedicated to creative work activities can stand on the university pulpit and walk the path of educators.
