  • 1925 Establishment of Geunhwa Girl’s School
  • 1938 Geunhwa was renamed to Duksung
  • 1950 Esablishment of Duksung Women’s Junior College
  • 1952 Duksung Women’s Junior College reorganized to Duksung Women’s College
  • 1987 Duksung Women’s College promoted as a comprehensive university
  • 2020 Celebration of 100th Anniversary
Two Campuses
DSWU has two beautiful campuses in Seoul, Korea: Ssangmun Main Campus and Jongno Second Campus. Ssangmun Campus is located at the foots of Mt. Bukhan National Park, while Jongno Campus is located in the heart of downtown Seoul with a beautiful Korean traditional ancient palace providing various programs at School of Continuing Education and three specialized Graduate Schools.
Statistics
DSWU is consisted of 6,944 students, 469 faculty, and 121 staff members. Undergraduate programs are offered at 4 colleges of 39 majors. The graduate program provides 17 majors in Master's and 5 majors in Doctorate degree.
